Apple Starts Message Promotion on iOS 11

Window New pop up tips appear on certain iPhone and iPad models, showing users of the iOS operating system the new features that will be present when iOS 11 updates are received by compatible devices.

One of the major changes that carried Apple's latest mobile operating system is its support only for 64-bit devices.

This causes the iPhone a generation longer than Apple iPhone 5s will not receive an operating system update to iOS 11.


The pop up messages also explain why the 32-bit 32-bit app will be removed from the App Store. Windows These pop up tips start appearing on iOS devices since September 5th of the United States time, and underline a number of new features that will be available on iPhone and iPad.

These features include options that will prevent users from receiving text messages, warnings and notifications while driving the vehicle. Other changes include the new version control center, "live" photo effects, new file apps and more.


By scrolling the teaser related changes first, iOS users are expected not to be too surprised when the new features officially rolled out along with the iOS 11 update. 

The iPhone models that will receive iOS 11 updates include iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE, and iPhone 5s.

Meanwhile, the iPad models that will receive iOS 11 updates include the first generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro, the second generation 12.9 inch iPad Pro, 9.7-inch iPad Pro, 10.5-inch iPad Pro, the fifth-generation iPad, the iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2.

Only one iPod model will receive iOS 11 update which is the sixth generation iPos Touch. This iOS 11 update will be scrolled via OTA and will start to be accepted by users this month.
