Nokia started the Smartwatch Steel HR Hybrid ordering program

Nokia's latest hybrid smartwatch pre-order branded Steel HR is officially started. Nokia announced the start of the pre-order program through Nokia Health's official Twitter account. On the upload on Twitter account, Nokia also announced consumers who order smart watches starting this November, will receive the product order starting early December.

Steel HR is a device that combines smartwatch capability with analog watches. This device is equipped with a heart rate control sensor, as well as a small digital display to display information of the functionality that supports it.

The battery of this device is also claimed to be able to survive for 25 days in a single charge. Meanwhile, Nokia may advertise Steel HR as a new product, although these smart watches have been announced Withings at the 2016 IFA event and started selling it after Nokia officially acquired in June 2017.


Nevertheless Nokia put a special touch on its marketed Steel HR. HMD Global calls to equip this device with sapphire glass on the heartbeat detector, to protect it from water up to 50 meters.

In addition, Nokia's Steel HR version is also equipped with software improvements, such as better heartbeat algorithms, capable of performing better tracking. Steel HR is available in two sizes, namely 36 and 40 mm.

Steel HR measures 36 mm marketed for US $ 179.95, while the model with a size of 40 mm for US $ 199.95. This device is available in black and white color options, as well as in limited quantities.
