LG officially opened the Software Upgrade Center to bring updates faster and have differences

LG officially opened the Software Upgrade Center, located on campus research and development center in South Korea. The Software Upgrade Center was built to speed up smartphone OS updates for customers.

Android users have to deal with systems that are adjusted by different smartphone manufacturers, on different models. Starting last February, the data mentioned only 0.11 percent of active devices using the Android operating system 8.0 and 8.1.


The first update to be handled by the Software Upgrade Center will be displayed on Android Oreo and released to LG's current flagship device, the LG G6, at the end of April, and starting in South Korea.

LG is targeting to bring a competitive edge that it can use to compete with Samsung's flagship mobile phones. For information, Samsung mobile phones are superior when compared to LG phones in sales, for many years.

LG also mentioned that the Software Upgrade Center will help consumers experience a consistent experience on their LG devices, by continuously testing the compatibility between software and hardware after the update.


In addition, LG also believes that the Software Upgrade Center will be enough to bring a lot of differences that will attract the attention of buyers of Android devices to buy smartphones of his work.
