Nokia Plans Buy Corporate Communication Software US$ 370 Million

The name Nokia is perhaps better known as the company pembesut phone, but the real business is not only Nokia phones but also telecommunications infrastructure.

Citing reports Gizmochina Nokia being one of the three major players in the telecommunications equipment market, together with Ericsson and Huawei. Now, the company is in talks to acquire Comptel (Comptel Corporation), a Finnish company others who have business in the field of communications software.


With this acquisition, Nokia will reportedly assisted in advancing their software strategy in order to remain relevant to the production of 4G broadband equipment. It said the acquisition value to reach US $ 370 million. In addition, Nokia also offers cash worth € 3.04 per share.

It is also mentioned Comptel's board has approved this offer and will recommend that shareholders also agreed with the decision of this acquisition.

Comptel is actually a partner that has long worked with Nokia. The company was founded in 1986 and operates in
country countries like Bulgaria, Malaysia, India, and the United Kingdom. This acquisition, most likely will not affect anything for the workers in Comptel.
