WhatsApp Soon Can Share All File Types
WhatsApp is testing a function that lets you send all file types to your contacts or groups. This is a marked improvement compared to the present situation.

"From today, WhatsApp launches for iOS, Android, Windows Phone users, the ability to share all types of files, allowing you to share archival and media files as originally. This means you can also share your photos and videos without being compressed! "Writes wabetainfo today, Friday, June 23, 2017.

"You may receive activation at any time, but note that this is very slow, because WhatsApp is experimenting this feature for only a few users, right now," according to the wabetainfo website.

Please note that you will be limited to a maximum file size of 128MB on iOS, 100MB on Android, and 64MB on the WhatsApp Web. According to GSMArena, this has something to do with WhatsApp who does not want the server to have problems with the burden of millions of people sharing 4K videos.

Currently, although you can send files, but are limited to certain file types, such as PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, and slides.

It is not clear why this limitation has gone so far, but the good news is that it will disappear soon. New features that let you share those file types are currently undergoing testing with a limited number of users.

WhatsApp's Facebook is actually not known quickly add new features, unlike Instagram, which is also owned by Facebook, or even Facebook Messenger. But this new function is definitely welcomed by many users of WhatsApp.
