Facebook Turn Off AI System After Bots Make Your Own Language

A few days after Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) has the greatest risk, Facebook has shut down one of its AI systems. This is done after chatbot starts speaking in their own language and refuses the code provided.

According to a report in Tech Times, the social media giant had to pull the plug on the AI system that is being used by researchers because things are out of control.

"AI does not shut down computers around the world or something like that, but it stops using English and starts using another language."

Initially AI agents use English to communicate with each other but then they create a new language that only the AI system can understand, and defy their goals.

This makes Facebook researchers close the AI system and then force them to talk to each other only in English.

In June, researchers from the Facebook AI Research Lab (FAIR) found that while they were busy trying to improve chat bots, "dialogue agents" created their own language.

Soon, bots began to diverge from programmed norms and began to communicate in new languages they created without media interference, media reports said.

A few days ago Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Bos Tesla Elon Musk were involved in mutual attacks while expressing their concern about AI technology in the future. "I've spoken to Mark about this (AI), his understanding of the subject is limited," Musk said last week.
