Xiaomi's latest smartphone in the Redmi Note line, Redmi Note 5A, has been confirmed to be launched on Monday.

The China-based company announced that Redmi Note 5A will be announced at an event held in its home country at 7:30 pm local time. The event will be hosted by Bin Lin, Chairman and CEO of Xiaomi.

The certification of this smartphone has also been found in China's telecommunications regulator, TENAA. Redmi Note 5A is expected to be present in two variants, which are units equipped with fingerprint sensors and units that are not equipped with the feature.

Both variants Redmi Note 5A has a specification that is almost exactly. Both have MDT6 and MDT6S code names.

According to TENAA certification, Xiaomi Redmi 5A will be equipped with a 5.5 inch HD screen and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425.

Most likely this phone will have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. In addition, it is mentioned equipped with a microSD slot to expand the memory up to 128GB.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A will already be using Android 7.1.1 Nougat which is lined with MIUI 9 and already supports dual-SIM. For camera problems, this phone is equipped with 12MP rear camera, complete with LED flash and 5MP camera as front camera.

In TENAA certification it is written that a smartphone weighing about 150 grams will use 3,000 mAh battery power. Based on previous leaked information, Redmi Note 5A is expected to be priced around CNY999 or about US $ 149.
