Sony launched its newest action camera, RX0. This GoPro competitor camera is 1 inch in size with a 15.3 MP CMOS camera sensor. The sensor, along with a fixed 24mm wide lens from Zeiss in F4 openings, is larger than GoPro currently has.

Shutter speed RX0 camera, at the number up to 1/32000 and burst mode, up to 16fps. Users can check the images through the screen on the back of the camera. RX0 is packed solid, weighs about 109 grams with a size of 2.38 x 1.63 x 1.19 inches, about the same size as the GoPro Hero series.

The camera from Sony is waterproof to a depth of 10 meters with a cover and can take pictures in rain, snow, sand and dust, and shock resistance up to about 2 meters and can withstand loads up to 440 pounds (about 200 kilograms).

According to Sony, the merged RX0 model can capture bullet-time images, just like in The Matrix. The slow-motion feature can capture up to 960 frames per second, but is below HD quality because the camera can only shoot 1080p at 240fps.

With such capabilities Sony RX0 which will come out next October priced at US $ 700, almost double from GoPro Hero5 Black is sold for US $ 399.
