Google announces Pixel Launcher with significant design changes, comes as a built-in software on its new smartphone, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. The changes began to roll over to the more popular Android launcher. The first launcher visited by Google's Pixel Launcher is Action Launcher by Cris Lacy. Version 29.0 has just been released on the Google Play Store and comes with a customizable Pixel 2 style search dock.

In addition to using Pixel 2 search box dock, users can customize it with the background color, shape, and favorite shortcuts. Users can find the personalization option in the Quickbar Action Launcher editor menu.

In addition to the new dock search box, Action Launcher 29.0 also comes with the ability to use Google's "G" logo to customize the corner radius of the search box, to make it appear more rounded.

Currently the 29.0 Late Action Launcher can be obtained for free on the Google Play Store. This launcher requires a device operating system Android version 4.1 and higher. However, some features will only work on newer operating system versions.

Google recently activated a new voice command, so Home users will be able to test it immediately. "Where's my phone" or "find / ring my phone" is a command that must be used for Google Home to detect the smartphone.
