Internal memo that Apple sent Apple Authorized Service Providers circulated on the internet. This memo says, starting today until the end of March, orders for inventory of iPhone 6 Plus in the service center will be replaced with Apple iPhone 6s Plus.

This means that all users who apply for the iPhone 6 repair unit and can not be repaired, will get the iPhone 6s Plus as a replacement unit. Previous internal documents reveal Apple is no longer producing iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

The document may also mean that users of the device who want to replace the battery will find it difficult to find the Apple Store or an authorized repair center with adequate and sufficient battery supplies.

With the high demand for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus batteries, Apple is expected to soon run out of battery packs for the phone. Meanwhile, starting a long-term production process is not a solution to overcome the demand.

However, submitting a battery replacement request alone is not included in the qualification that allows the user to obtain a new replacement unit. To get a new replacement unit in its entirety, the device must be damaged in mothernoard, Lightning connector, or non-replaceable components.

Meanwhile, there are major differences between iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. iPhone 6s is powered by a 1.4GHz 64-bit Apple A8 dual-core chipset and PowerVR GX6450 GPU. The iPhone 6s Plus is powered by a 1.84GHz 64-bit A9 dual-core chipset and GPU PowerVR GT7600.

iPhone 6s Plus is also supported RAM capacity two times larger than the previous model, which is 2GB. Rear camera on this unit is also 12MP resolution and 5MP front camera, higher than the iPhone 6s are 8MP and 1.5MP.
