iOS platform is the target of new malware attacks

Recently, Kaspersky Lab researchers found a malware that infiltrated the router and hijacked the victim's domain name system (DNS).

Then, the malware will infect the smartphone connected to the network via a router that has been infected with the malicious program.

Known, this malware mostly targets the Asian region and growing rapidly. After one month, this malware extends its target region of Europe and the Middle East.

Not only expand the area of its spread, malware is also evolved more sophisticated to have the ability to attack the IOS device, and used to mine cryptocurrency.

Malware that is named Roaming Mantis is able to steal user's personal information and allows the takeover of control devices.

Experts suspect the spread of this malware is masterminded by a group of hackers based in Korea or China.
