Add Member, Nintendo Handheld Series Arrival 2DS XL

Nintendo will add a list of products incorporated in its handheld series. It was confirmed after the Japanese company announced the presence of 2DS XL.

According to Nintendo, 2DS XL is the latest option offered by the company. "This device is a form of Nintendo commitment to the handheld market," said Nintendo President of America Reggie Fils-Aime as quoted from Venture Beat.

The plan, this device began to be marketed to the United States market on July 28, 2017. At the same time, Nintendo will introduce two brand-new games for the Nintendo 3DS family that is Hey! Pikmin and Miitopia.


The price tag of this device is US $ 150. Given the price and features in it, this device is intentionally positioned as a device located between Nintendo 2DS and Nintendo 3DS XL.


This brand-new system will be available in two colors, namely black and turqoise. Despite having the same screen size as the latest 3DS XL, the output that can be displayed is still limited to 2D.

To support performance, 2DS XL still uses the same offal as its predecessor but has lighter weight. This device is also equipped with NFC features to support the use of cards and figures Amiibo.


Nintendo also mentions 2DS can play games in the library of Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo DS. Hence the titles of the famous series, such as Mario Kart, Pokemon, and Super Smash Bros. Can be played on this device.
